Once contacted Cosway’s will come to your home and assess each situation individually, we can discuss your requirements and go through the options available for each situation. Once we have decided how best to proceed, fabrics will be sourced if need be and a full detailed quote provided, Cosway’s can offer a full fitting service if required.

I have been lucky enough to work across Devon from traditional Exmoor cottages to contemporary penthouse apartments in Torbay and genuinely enjoy the challenges that each different situation sets!

Curtains

I bespoke make curtains for all situations, whether a straight forward window, dorma or shaped windows or bi fold wall to wall doors – there is always a solution. I offer all types of linings; cotton, blackout or fully interlined for a really beautiful finish Headings range from gathered, to fully handmade double or triple pinch pleats which can be finished with trimmings, buttons or inset with a contrast fabric for a really stunning effect.

When it comes to fabrics I offer a sourcing service and have accounts with many excellent suppliers or I am quite happy to make up in your own fabric. I endeavour to work closely with my clients to assist with colour and fabrics as well as advising on the best solutions for pole and tracks.

Blinds

I offer a good advice service for which type of blind will best suit each situation and can measure and supply roller, pleated, venetian, wood venetian and vertical blinds in a range of colours and fabrics. Roman blinds are fully handmade in my workshop, using child safe head rail systems you can choose cotton, blackout or interlined blinds in any fabric and these prove to be a very popular option in both modern and traditional settings.

Alterations

I am a firm believer that if you have existing curtains or fabric that is still in a good condition and that you like then you should use it! Therefore I offer an excellent alteration service, 15 years of experience often means if there is a way of altering something to make it fit somewhere new I can somehow find a solution. Whether this is by adding fabric, changing headings, adding trimmings or simply re-lining and a bit of TLC there is usually a way!

Soft Furnishing Accessories

Many different aspects of decoration make up a room, sometimes curtains and blinds are just the start! Cushions either matching or coordinating can really add to a scheme, adding piping trimmings and contrast fabrics can make a real statement. I have made many things for many situations including, drum lampshades, re-covering existing vintage lampshades and re covering or loose covering footstools and occasional chairs.

I even have a sideline (encouraged by my small poodle cross Willa) to make or recover dog beds and I make a range of oilcloth dog toy baskets to co-ordinate with a clients colour scheme – after all they do live in the house too!
